My #1 toothbrush recommendation is Sonicare for Kids!

When recommending toothbrushes for children, my #1 criteria is that the child likes it. The best toothbrush on the market will do nothing if it is not used. Favorite cartoon characters or colors usually do the trick!

After a certain age, however, the charm will disappear and the most important trait a toothbrush must have is that it is the most efficient and lest traumatic.

It is important to note that children should not be brushing their own teeth until they have the manual dexterity to tie their own shoes. The recommended age for Sonicare for Kids is 7, but (in my opinion) this is flexible if proper supervision is available.
